Dollar Bank Recognized by Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group

Dollar Bank was recognized by the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group (PCRG) with the Excellence in Lending to Black Borrowers for Home Purchases Award at this year’s Community and Bank Awards Ceremony on August 28, 2025.

The awards celebrate financial institutions that demonstrate a strong commitment to equitable neighborhood investment. These institutions are evaluated on the most recent Allegheny County Data and PCRG’s Annual Mortgage Lending Study assessment of banks’ lending equitably in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods and to Black and Brown communities.

This year, Dollar Bank was acknowledged for its outstanding performance in mortgage lending for Black borrowers, reflecting the Bank’s mission to be an inclusive community bank, investing in customers and strengthening communities.

“I am incredibly proud of my team for their outstanding achievement in African American mortgage lending. We have worked tirelessly to make homeownership accessible to more people in our community. I am thrilled to see our efforts recognized. This award is a testament to their dedication, hard work and unwavering commitment to our mission. I am excited to continue this journey together and make a positive impact on the lives of many, providing homes and empowering dreams,” said Jason Jones, Director of Community Development.

Dollar Bank’s recognition underscores continued efforts towards fostering economic growth and empowerment by making homeownership accessible to all families throughout the communities we serve.
