Dollar Bank to Move Corporate Headquarters to 20 Stanwix Street

Dollar Bank announced today their corporate headquarters will move to a new downtown Pittsburgh location at 20 Stanwix Street. Dollar Bank also announced plans to renovate, modernize and expand their operations center at 2700 Liberty Commons in Pittsburgh’s Strip District.

“Relocating our corporate office and renovating our operations center gives us the ability to create an environment that maximizes organizational efficiency, optimizes resources and promotes a strengthened internal community. We are reinventing our workplace in today’s environment,” said Jim McQuade, President and CEO of Dollar Bank.

Dollar Bank’s move to 20 Stanwix Street and the 2700 Liberty Commons renovation will feature thoughtful upgrades to overall work adjacencies, state of the art technology and provide modernized workspace to enhance collaboration, while providing safety and efficiency in today’s environment.

Partnering with Strada Architects, spaces will be designed to give Dollar Bank flexibility for a variety of programming and uses with our employees in mind. The meeting spaces, lounge areas and private huddle rooms will accommodate a variety of configurations, from large and small meetings, social groups, to employees who need a quiet enclave for heads-down work. It’s a place where our people can safely connect, collaborate, recharge and refuel.

At 20 Stanwix Street, Dollar Bank will occupy premium first floor and exclusive space on floors 17 through 20. Highlighting this new modern office space will be private access to the indoor and outdoor rooftop areas, featuring spectacular views of Pittsburgh. The rooftop will feature space for employees to work, gather with colleagues and take a break for personal wellbeing. Overall, the modernized office will provide technology and workspaces to better align with employees’ work practices and provide a safe working environment.

The 2700 Liberty Commons renovation will feature a complete workplace modernization, while expanding the office footprint with an additional 35,000 square feet of space. The space will feature a newly remodeled entrance and atrium, hot breakfast and lunch options, a grab-and-go bistro, state-of-the-art reception and private rooftop spaces.

“Our people are the company, so we wanted to create spaces that are reflective of today’s office environment, optimizing our employee experience,” said McQuade. “This renovation will better support the changing needs of workplace activities while providing employees with safe, flexible and relevant workspaces.”

Great working environments are imperative to ensuring a happy and productive workforce. With this major move and renovation, Dollar Bank’s new workspace will be comfortable, inviting and will increase our competitive advantage by providing our employees with a safe new state-of-the-art work environment.

Dollar Bank is expected to move into the renovated office space at 20 Stanwix Street in the early part of 2021. The 2700 Liberty Commons atrium project has begun with the full office renovation and modernization slated to be complete mid-2021. Overall, Dollar Bank has 720 employees working in the two downtown locations.
