Dollar Bank Stanwix Office Opening, 1969

In May 1969, Pittsburgh jazz trombonist Harold Betters and his combo performed a series of free sidewalk jazz concerts outside the Kossman Building, to the delight of music lovers who stopped by on their lunch hours. The occasion? The grand opening of Dollar Bank’s Stanwix Office. The concert recordings were produced as a jazz album, “On Your Account.”
