Dollar Bank has maintained a long-standing partnership with Esperanza to bring educational opportunities, scholarships and financial education to Clevelands Hispanic community.

Dollar Banks annual mortgage home buying workshop, The Way Home, returns to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on May 11, 2024. Celebrating its 25th year, the workshop is available to community members who want to learn how to stop renting and start owning or are looking for guidance to improve their financial situation.

For the 27th year, Dollar Bank was a proud sponsor of the Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF48) and was the presenting sponsor during opening night on April 3, 2024.

In October 2023, the Dollar Bank Foundation made a $10,000 contribution to the Chesapeake Public Schools Educational Foundation. The funds will bring new and impactful programs to students in two schools within the Chesapeake public school system.

From November 2023 to February 2024, customer transactions helped Dollar Bank truly make a difference for children in need. In its third year, through this annual campaign $1 is donated to select local nonprofits for each qualifying customer Zelle or Bill Pay transaction. At the campaigns end, $15,000 was raised to benefit charities from Pennsylvania, Ohio and Virginia that focus on helping children in need.

For the second year in a row, the Dollar Bank Foundation has provided a $10,000 grant to The Rising Brothers and Sisters program, a multi-faceted mentorship effort with Point Park Universitys Rowland School of Business. The program, founded in 2022, aims to increase representation of successful professionals of color on Point Parks campus and in high schools by providing students with small group support systems.

Dollar Banks 24th annual free mortgage home buying workshop, The Way Home, returns on June 3, 2023, at the Webb Center on the campus of Old Dominion University. It began as a workshop for single mothers, Mortgages for Mothers in 1999. Since the programs inception, over 5,000 people have attended. It has grown over the years and today is available to anyone who wants to learn how to stop renting and start owning their own home.
